"Shell Oil predicts that 50% of the world's energy will come from renewable sources by 2040."

"A system as small as 50 kilowatts, which can fit on a medium-sized office building roof, can produce enough electricity to eliminate 86,388 lbs of CO2 pollution annually, equivalent to planting over 6.5 acres of trees!"

"The number 2 state in the U.S. for solar electric power, and number 1 in total solar installations on a per capita basis, is New Jersey. Abundant state and federal incentive programs have caused the number of solar installations to skyrocket from just six installations seven years ago to over 4,340 today." LEARN MORE

In one hour, the planet Earth receives more energy from the sun than the entire world uses during a whole year.

In most states, you are allowed to feed the electricity produced by your solar power system back into the power grid.

Known as "net metering," this allows you to sell your solar power to the local utility, reducing or eliminating your electric bill.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), passed in response to the worldwide economic crisis of 2008-2009, contains more than than $50 billion in direct spending programs, tax incentives, grants, loans, loan guarantees, and bond programs devoted to clean and renewable energy.

Even during the recession, the solar industry grew by 37 percent in 2009 and created 17,000 new American jobs. One industry association projects 10 gigawatts of new installations annually by 2015, powering two million households with clean, safe solar energy and supporting 440,000 domestic jobs.

2009 marked the second year of major price declines for photovoltaic solar modules. Prices have fallen over 40 percent since the beginning of 2008.

Since module prices account for up to half of the installed cost of a PV system, overall installed system prices are trending significantly downward as well.

Wind Power

Neuwing Renewable Energy is one of the few renewable energy developers that offer small scale wind power installation services at no cost to the customer through a PPA arrangement.

Neuwing Renewable Energy can often site small scale wind turbines (64kw -1MW) on properties that cannot accommodate a solar panel array enabling customers still enjoy all the benefits associated with green energy. Wind is an excellent alternative to solar if your property lacks sizable / usable roof or open space.

Utilizing your unused open space or adjoining land, Neuwing Renewable Energy has a wind solution for the following property types:

  • Industrial and commercial buildings
  • Prisons and institutional buildings
  • Schools, Universities and colleges
  • Governmental buildings
  • Water & Sewer treatment plants
  • Farms & Agriculture

Minimum Wind Site Requirements

Generally the wind siting process requires a more detailed analysis than a solar installation. If you feel you have an ideal wind power site you should contact a Neuwing Renewable Energy sales rep (below) so we can begin a preliminary site analysis. General site requirements are as follows:

  • Site - Neuwing Renewable Energy typically does not site turbines within 300' of a permanent residence unless there are special circumstances. Depending on turbine size, your property should be able to accommodate a min of a 50' radius for the turbine base and buffer.
  • Wind - Ideal turbine locations have free, unobstructed airflow on all sides and are located in generally windy areas. Tall trees, buildings (60' +) and other structures should be at least 200' from the proposed turbine location.
  • Location - Currently there are 5 states in the U.S. where Neuwing Renewable Energy is actively offering our services. These include Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Neuwing Renewable Energy will also consider servicing customers outside these locations.
  • Electricity - Customers must use a minimum of 500kw (500,000 kWh) of electricity annually to be considered for Neuwing Renewable Energy services.
  • Credit Rating - In order to be considered for Neuwing Renewable Energy services, currently we only work with prospects who maintain investment-grade credit scores. For privately held companies or non-profit organizations, we require 3 years of audited financials.
Credit Exceptions - Municipal or Government entities are subject to a different set of criteria and are generally exempt from the Credit Rating process. Investor Owned Utilities, Municipal Utilities, Co-ops and other providers are subject to a different set of criteria. Please contact us directly if you wish to inquire about our Utility Services.
